MISSION/VISION

Glorify God

In accordance with 1 Corinthians 10:31, we believe that the purpose for all creation is to bring honor and glory to the lord.  We believe that the greatest way to honor God is through the fulfillment of the great commission as laid out in Matthew 28:19-20.  Our mission is to share the Gospel with those in our area, baptize them and disciple them by teaching them sound doctrine.  We also believe that the great commission commands us to reach those who are lost all around the world, and that is why we are faithful to support missions works around the globe.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At the Heart of Everything We Do

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and was fully inspired of God. Furthermore, we believe that the King James Version has been preserved for the English speaking people.

God
We believe that there is one true, living triune God that exists eternally in 3 persons which are: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost.

Jesus Christ
While Jesus Christ came to earth as a man, He never ceased to be God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God that was sent to save the world from sin. We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, literal death on the cross, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave. We believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary and that His shed blood is the sole atonement for the sin.

Sin
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that man chose to sin. Through Adam, all of mankind has inherited a sinful nature and are lost in need of salvation.

Salvation
“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:15. We believe that salvation is the free gift of God that is offered to “whosoever” will accept this free gift by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary, plus nothing, minus nothing. We believe that God does not elect souls to heaven and hell, and once a person accepts Christ they are eternally secure. Church The church is a local, visible body of believers for the purpose of exalting the Lord, and fulfilling the Great Commission.

The Church

The church is a local, visible body of believers for the purpose of exalting the Lord, and fulfilling the Great Commission.

Church Ordinances

There are two ordinances of the church: baptism by immersion and the Lords Supper. We believe that the Lords Supper is meant to be among those that belong to and are members of the local body of believers, which we call the church.

Second Coming

Jesus Christ will return to this earth again someday for His saints. We believe this to be imminent, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial in nature.

Separation

We believe that believers should be separate from the world, and that the church should be separate from the world.

The above statements provide a concise explanation of our doctrinal position.
